Partnership versus sponsorship #
| Partnership | Sponsorship | |
|---|---|---|
| Basis | Documented collaboration: knowledge exchange, education, professional development, community growth | Funding or in-kind support in return for recognition |
| Payment | Never | Yes, or documented in-kind value |
| Levels | None | Silver, Gold, Platinum annual packages, or individually agreed |
An organisation can hold both; they are recorded and shown as two separate relationships.
Propose a collaboration #
- Open Propose a collaboration.
- Describe Your organisation, Who we would be working with (use a business or institutional email) and The collaboration: a suggested partner category, purpose, activities, what each side contributes, expected duration and any existing agreement or MoU reference.
- Optionally upload a logo (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB). It is stored privately and only published if the partnership is approved and you give logo permission.
- Submit.
What happens next #
- You verify your email address.
- The PKOUG team reviews the proposal and may ask questions.
- If both sides want to proceed, the collaboration is agreed in writing.
- Only then is the partnership recorded, approved and published.
There is no fee, package or payment at any stage. Submitting the form does not create a partnership or oblige PKOUG to anything.
