How long you stay signed in #
A member session on pkoug.org ends after 30 minutes without activity and after 12 hours at most.
Security page #
Open My PKOUG → Security (/member/security.php).
- Your account — account status. Your email address cannot be changed here; changing it needs confirmation from both the old and new address, so contact the team.
- Password — see Changing or resetting your password.
- Signed-in devices — Sign out other devices ends every other session. Your password does not change and you stay signed in on this device.
- Recent activity — recent sign-ins and account events. If you see one you do not recognise, change your password, sign out other devices and email info@pkoug.org.
Sign out of pkoug.org #
Use Sign out in the account menu at the top of My PKOUG.
Sign out on the forum #
The forum account menu offers three choices:
| Choice | Result |
|---|---|
| Sign out | Signs you out of the forum and pkoug.org |
| Switch account | Signs out and asks you to sign in as someone else |
| Sign out of Forum only | Ends the forum session; pkoug.org stays signed in |
If pkoug.org is signed in as a different person in the same browser, the full sign-out leaves that session alone and tells you so.
