Editing your member profile

Update your professional details, skills, photograph, forum banner and contact links from My Profile, and control what is published.

Open My PKOUG → My Profile (/member/profile.php).

Sections #

  • Who you are: name, job title, a one-line tagline shown in the directory, employer, city, country and years of experience.
  • About you, Skills (other members can search these) and Services.
  • Photo & profile banner.
  • Contact details: private phone and WhatsApp, plus a public email, public phone, website, LinkedIn and GitHub.
  • Privacy: what is listed and shown. See Privacy controls.

Select Save my profile to apply your changes.

Photograph #

  • JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB, between 200×200 and 4000×4000 pixels.
  • Leave the file field empty to keep your current photograph.
  • Show my photograph on my public forum profile is off by default. When off, the forum shows your initials. This choice is separate from your directory setting.

Forum profile banner #

  • JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 3 MB, at least 1200×300 pixels.
  • The banner is published on your forum community profile after your next forum sign-in.
