PKOUG never generates or emails a password. Once your membership is approved, you prove you control your email address and choose your own password.
Request a set-up link #
- Open Set up your member account.
- Enter the email address of your membership and select Send me a link.
- Open the link in the email.
The page gives the same answer whether or not the address belongs to a membership that still needs setting up, so it cannot be used to check who is a member.
Choose your password #
- Enter a New password of at least 12 characters. A short sentence you will remember works well.
- Enter it again in Repeat it.
- Select Set my password. You can now sign in.
An administrator can also send you a set-up link from the member record, for example after approving your application.
