1. Choose what you are posting #
Under What are you posting? choose Question for a specific problem. For open conversation choose Discussion — see Starting a discussion.
2. Write the title #
- Required, 15 to 255 characters.
- Put the error, symptom or decision in it: ORA-04031 on 19c RAC after enabling result cache is answered faster than Database problem.
3. Write the details #
- Required, at least 30 characters.
- Include the expected result, the actual result and what you have already tried.
- Wrap code, SQL and stack traces in triple backticks. See Formatting code and mentioning members.
4. Add technical context #
Optional fields narrow the answer: Oracle product, Version, Operating system, Environment, Deployment and Error code. They appear in the question's technical context panel.
5. Choose a category #
Required. Choose the most specific Oracle product or area. See Categories and Oracle products.
6. Add tags #
Choose up to 5 tags from the Oracle vocabulary. Common spellings resolve to the canonical tag; a term that is not in the vocabulary is sent to moderators as a suggestion instead of being created. See Using tags.
7. Attach a file (optional) #
One PNG, JPG, WEBP, TXT, LOG or SQL file, up to 5 MB. See Attaching files.

Your question is published immediately.
